There’s actualy a fuckton of byzaboos at historymemes and every other place where rightwing “history” buffs congregate, and they are usually even worse than the nazi and Rome fanboys since the former two at least can usually admit their favourite countries did “something” wrong while the byzaboos are completely onesided since it’s harder to check them on their bullshit because the byzantine history is rarer and usually also written by byzaboos in the first place.

History buffs when asked what happened to the Indigenous peoples of the Americas and the Pacific.

(On second thought, the people who get nervous are at least partially self aware.
