Seriously, my first thought when I saw that was “so? What’s wrong with that?” Then again I’m not exactly the target audience for anticommunist crap.
That’s the weird thing: they are, in a way, trying to say there’s nothing wrong with it. But they think that Russians are highly triggered by LGBTQ+ shit, so they also make fun of them by calling them gay or whatever.
So they are advocating for LGBTQ+ acceptance while at the same time using it as a profanity. ‘Look lads, we ‘accept’ you and all but we also kinda want to use your existence as an insult, okay?’
