He mentioned the likes of Turkey, I guess joining BRICS? Turkey is part of the NATO alliance. Guessing that this is mostly conjecture.

Turkey is a bit of a wild card. They are part of NATO but lately that has been more of a problem than a boon for the imperialists because Turkey continues to block Sweden’s entry into the alliance. They also continue to have good relations and strong economic ties to Russia.

Turkey tries to play both sides and it’s been fairly lucrative for them so far. For instance they’re planning to build some major pipeline infrastructure together with Russia that once finished will turn them into Europe’s new gas hub replacing Germany since the US fucked the Germans over big time with Nordstream.

As for BRICS, so far only three countries have officially applied to join: Algeria, Argentina and Iran, but there are indications that several more are potentially interested, including Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Indonesia. If either Turkey or Saudi Arabia join that would be a major blow to the empire.

Another thing to keep an eye on is the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Turkey is an official “dialogue partner” and may become an observer state down the line. The current observer states, Iran, Belarus and a few others are already interested in becoming full members.

All of these represent significant economic and diplomatic ties that are not easily broken if you are a normal country with sane leadership and not suicidal lemmings like the EU which is completely captured by Washington. The US coup attempt against Erdogan a few years back failed so for the foreseeable future Turkey will still be able to have independent foreign policy.

True, but I always find his vids to be interesting. Turkey is a military powerhouse in Europe (and therefore NATO as well), it has a great geological tactical location and has great economic potential. A positive relation with Turkey would be a huge move for a country like China as it would give them a great gateway to the region (Middle-East/Europe).
