My gf will probably end up earning 3-4x as much as I do. She also does things like paint the house as she is, you know, a skilled painter. She is by far better educated than I am and she has the most potential of us both, career wise. She will end up being the cost winner in our relationship.

Now, have I ever felt less of a man because of it? No, because I am still a man with my own qualities. Some guys still try to see me as weak but I can’t hear them. I’m too busy wiping my tears with the bank notes my gf gave me for allowance.

It’s 2023 for God’s sake. Be whoever you want to be except fascist

…I hope she won’t end up cheating/“cucking” on you for a, quote-unquote “better man”. I’m sorry if it sounded insensitive, I just keep seeing this trope in media for some reason, where women cheat on their male partners if they’re “submissive/weak”.

I’m not in the slightest worried about that. It’s as if people can have more admirable qualities than the number on their paycheck. She’s also the type of person to stab someone if they said something like what you mentioned.

Well, that’s good to hear. Here’s hoping you two remain unseparable. 🥂

I think you completely missed the point of the meme. It’s just femboy porn.

Even if it’s just a porn meme it’s still one that displays idiotic gender roles in which men have to be these strong patriarch figures.

What does your girlfriend do for a job if it’s alright for me to ask? Or if she hasn’t reached her full career potential, what was her track of education/study?

She works in the art world, mainly restoring and researching art. Her trajectory is set to end at jobs for state museums and such.

People always joke about an art degree being useless, but there are some actual great degrees you can get which offer great pay in the end. And you get to be present in all the museums and art circles, which I always thinks is fun. Gets me places I don’t usually end up in.

That’s really interesting! I hadn’t thought much about that career path, but it definitely makes sense to me that “art degrees” have many valuable uses. One can only imagine how many countless masterpieces would have been lost to history, rot, or negligence if it wasn’t for the professional art community.

Plus museums are pretty cool to say the least, so having a back door access seems like it’d be extremely fun!

It’s a bit disappointing how in the US almost all museums are privately owned which leads to nepotistic and incompetent management, with most jobs or available positions at galleries being taken up by good friends of the museum’s CEO. I would actually blame that partially for the attitude of Americans towards art degrees, as it is extremely difficult to succeed here with one without back door dealings, nepotism, or family favors. Leaving the majority of common people unemployed as all positions are sucked up by legacy workers and artists.

…I’m sorry, but what’s misogynist and transphobic about this? It’s just a femboy struggling to pick up a gallon of bottle for some reason.

Yes I see the problem, you’re trying to lift with your back and are not using your legs at all. This is a big mistake as your legs are about 3 times as strong as your arms, with a much greater potential for development. Rookie mistake.
