Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) – Officials, working people, servicepersons, youth and schoolchildren in the DPRK paid high tribute to the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and mosaics depicting their smiling images across the country on the occasion of the New Year Juche 112 (2023).

Floral baskets in the names of the Party, power and armed forces organs, social organizations, ministries, national institutions, units of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) and the Public Security Forces (PSF) and organs, industrial establishments, universities at all levels in Pyongyang City, and bouquets were placed before the statues of the President and the Chairman on Mansu Hill.

The chief and members of the Pyongyang mission of the Anti-Imperialist National Democratic Front laid a bouquet before the statues.

The visitors made the first New Year’s greeting to the statues.

Floral baskets in the names of units of KPA and PSF, organs, enterprises and bouquets were placed before the statues of the great leaders and mosaics portraying their smiling images in different places of the capital city.
