Surround the White House for Gaza! We are the red line!
We need your help to bring thousands of protesters to Genocide Joe’s doorstep on June 8
We are now just three days away from a massive national mobilization at the White House to demand an end to the genocide in Gaza. Scores of buses are traveling to D.C. from all across the country – from as far as Michigan, Iowa, Florida and Kentucky. Every day, grassroots activists are registering new transportation centers as word spreads about this crucial demonstration.
The U.S.-Israeli massacre in Rafah and all throughout Palestine is intensifying. At the same time, the international and public pressure to end the genocide has never been higher. Now is the moment to take to the streets!
Volunteers hard at work preparing!
Activists packed the ANSWER office in D.C. last night to prepare signs, banners and more for the national mobilization. And every day, volunteers are hitting the streets in the DC area to distribute flyers and posters. Word is spreading fast about this critical mobilization!

PALESTINE IS THE RED LINE
Join Our Carpool
From the Bay to LA!
Like & share the corresponding announcement on Instagram! This Saturday tens of thousands of people will surround the White House showing the world that the people are the red line. We will be extending the red line from DC to LA with a sister city demonstration at the Los Angeles City Hall this Saturday, June 8 to amplify our message coast-to-coast: We demand an immediate ceasefire, an end to the siege on Gaza, the freedom of all Palestinian prisoners & an end to the occupation of Palestine. 🇵🇸
June 8 marks eight months of […] genocide of the Palestinian people, and marks the 54th anniversary of the occupation of Gaza. A month ago, Biden said that the invasion of Rafah was a red line. But now, the invasion of Rafah has continued for weeks, has expanded to the entire Gaza Strip, Biden’s red line is nowhere to be seen!
Join us in LA on Saturday! Complete this form by 6/6 to get a ride down to Los Angeles this Saturday, June 8.
The bus from Des Moines, Iowa is already on the way! Activists are traveling 16 hours to be in D.C. for the People’s Red Line mobilization.Important logistics information for the People’s Red Line mobilization
Tomorrow will be a historic day – tens of thousands of people will surround the White House at 12:00 p.m. and form the People’s Red Line to demand an end to the genocide in Gaza! People are traveling from all across the country to be part of this crucial mobilization at a moment when the U.S.-Israeli massacre is intensifying hour by hour.
We have assembled the following logistical information to facilitate attendance at this critical action. Below, find information relating to driving, parking, public and mass transportation.
Driving and Parking
Street closures
A number of streets will be closed near the site of the demonstration. If you are driving, we recommend avoiding the area of downtown DC to the east of the rally site (Lafayette Park). The streets west of 15th Street NW should be less effected.
Nearby Pay-to-Park Lots
There are many car parking lots in the White House area, some of which we have listed below.
Street parking is very limited. If you are parking on the street, please read all parking signs carefully and check for “emergency no parking signs.” You may need to pay, even on a Saturday.
Parking in a lot will most likely be easier and more convenient.

Join the People’s Court of Justice!
Outdoor event
The Ellipse (just south of the White House)
Beginning at 4:00 p.m.
The red line will march into the ellipse for a people’s court of justice that will begin at 4pm. Human rights lawyers with expertise in international law and war crimes will read an indictment and take testimony about war crimes, crimes against humanity, and crimes against peace. This will be a powerful educational event where we will expose the war criminals responsible for unspeakable suffering in Gaza.
[Neocolonial] and U.S. officials, weapons companies, corporate media—all of these institutions have played a crucial part in the murder of over 40,000 Palestinians and the destruction of Gaza. The U.S. boasts of itself as a global pillar of democracy and moral righteousness, but the people know this is a lie. It is time for them to be held responsible.
