The 1890s called, they want their reformist revisionism back. There was this guy by the name of Bernstein in Germany who was saying the exact same shit. A dude in Russia going by the moniker “Lenin” disagreed. Guess which country ended up becoming the first socialist society and which became a dysfunctional liberal democracy that fell into fascism. Reform has never brought about socialism, only revolution has. It doesn’t take a genius to see why. The capitalist ruling class will never give up its power just because you played by their rules and vooted extra hard.
I wish I could force every single person who thinks like this to read reform or revolution.
