Instead, the CPC is increasingly tightening the rope around the rich of the country, actively battling all kinds of issues from poverty and inequality to environmental destruction, as well as trying to work the general population past bad views that have been held in Chinese society since forever, like racism, sexism, lgbtqphobia, etc.
