For full transparence we are announcing it here.
Our reasons were that it seemed like it was made to bash people for their appearance. This is not something we want to bring to Lemmygrad; All of us here have been able to foster a generally positive attitude in this community and we want to keep it that way.
There’s not much more to say but if you have questions you can ask them in the comments here.

I think that’s a good call. There’s a lot of things to criticize society for, we don’t need things like this or fatpeoplehate or whatever. They more often than not turn toxic.
If it’s one less “let’s get mad about screenshots” communities I have to block then I’m all for it.
Most of the criticisms we have for “Neckbeards” is just their dogshit liberal takes which we already have few coms dedicated to like shitliberalsay. We should bash people on the stupid shit they say no the way they look.
I think it also brings things that I personally don’t want to encounter into the community. The people themselves may not participate, but their messages still spread, and as much as we need to keep up to date on how reactionaries and others are thinking, I really don’t want to see their content repeated without analysis simply because we can point and laugh.
Good idea, we should focus on people’s political opinions and angles more then anything, so targeting random people over their looks first seems counterintuitive and hypocritical.
Good call
Reducing people to their looks is dumb, reactionary shit, especially when their ideas are fash or trash.
