I have all 3 vols of this and when I first started reading, it was immediately clear Xí Jìnpíng is a very advanced Communist. To the point that I felt pretty small. Even moreso because I didn’t know about the one central task, two basic points, three represents, and four cardinal principles. You really have to supplement your reading of this with ML theory, Mao Zedong Thought, and Chinese history to even approach The Governance of China. But it’s also very easy to do and rewarding. It’s also incredibly heartwarming to see Xí Jìnpíng’s family photos (in color). These tomes prove China has advanced Marxism-Leninism to this century and are pushing it beyond.
