    CAPITALISM IS HUMAN NATURE

I had a discussion with my father in law, a self proclaimend intellectual leftist, a while ago and he said something along these lines. When I said that maybe the capitalist system we live in forces people to be this way, he answered: ‘What is capitalism according to you? Look at my phone, that’s capital, right? What’s wrong with that?’

My point is: keep explaining communism and capitalism to people, some just don’t know how to put things together but will listen. Some people are just morons.

Capitalism is human nature, as is sleeping in caves, eating maggots, and dying at 25 from scraping your leg

Nice example of how the information monopoly in liberal democracy works. This post is pretty impressive for an average lib, but then it’s completely steered off into the acceptable safety valves of individualism, antivaxx and ultimately misanthropia. Next step: fascism.

Gonna sound like a very bourgeois-millenial response but if this person can afford to they ought to travel (somewhere outside of the West). Homo amerikanus and homo evropus aren’t humanity writ large, and there is a love for the people to be found around the world. It can be hard to abandon misanthropy when surrounded by vile and heartless people, but the beating heart of humanity is strong.

See, something you never see them reconcile is that if capitalism is human nature, why do any socialist societies exist at all?

You ask for example why the Chinese support their socialist government, they say that its because the people there are heavily propagandized and don’t know any better.

So they agree that its possible for someone living in a system to be indoctrinated into it, yet they also firmly believe that human nature is unchangeable.

Like, have you considered that YOUR society defines your “Human Nature” as well???

So did the experts of the Quora found the solution or the answer is just that the humans are like this?

Whenever libs have to face the downsides of capitalism, they blame all of humanity.

To be fair, hanging out on Quora could very easily give you the impression that most human beings are pathetic.
