This Pyongyang neighborhood looks as posh and pristine as some of the most expensive bourgeois developments in my city. The difference? Where I live, the apartments are either empty or inhabited by jackasses; while in the DPRK they are home to honest, dignified, hard-working proletarians. And they didn’t have to pay a cent for them because socialism is awesome like that. I’m honestly quite jealous.

Just like the lady said, people in other countries won’t believe this. The thing is I am a foreigner to the DPRK and I still have a bunch of questions. It’s this the same for the other drivers? Did she she win a prize or incentive por something? Is this common in the rest of the country? Because if so, I so would like to replicate this where I live.

I have exactly the same questions as you. I wish there was a way to contact DPR Koreans to ask questions like this.
