In the final paragraph she finally says what she really thinks.

Given how catastrophic another Trump term would be — including in Israel, where the far right fantasizes about his return — I find people who threaten to withhold their votes from Biden maddening. But if Democrats want them to come around, listening to them will be more effective than lecturing them.

They are losing their minds that “I won’t vote for someone conducting genocide” is an absolute moral position

When it comes to Biden, dems, and liberals I keep saying “I keep underestimating how bad they are.” But time passes and I found I’ve made the same mistake yet again.

Seriously though - I would have thought being anti-genocide would be a position even liberals could understand. But here we are.

Its also the last meritocracy believers, the striver types who become PMC and make just enough and recieve enough treats and perks that they still believe their interests are compatible with the interests of financial capital. Thats the real base of the party, just like the beautiful boaters are the base of team red

            • Eh, outside of literal Washington insiders I don’t even think that’s true. I’m surrounded by PMC striver types (just not literal operatives of the DNC) and it’s so obvious that the Dems don’t believe in meritocracy.

Biden is so plainly incompetent that it’s hard to believe that these are the people upholding a system that allows the best to rise to the top.
