Hey all,

Some of us are unable to reliably exercise outdoors. Aside from cardio, let’s discuss healthy habits for a productive quarantine.

Diet: cough go vegan cough for anybody looking to lose a few pounds, I want to recommend intermittent fasting. Trendy or not, I stand by it. Look it up on your own, I linked a page in the title for starters.

Exercise: What have you all been doing? I’m able to do cardio at home, but have lost some muscle mass (I relied on the gym before quarantine). Share your routines, and inspire us to keep going!

I very strongly recommend yoga. It is strength-building, flexibility-building, stability-building, concentration-building and relaxing.

I’ve been following “30 days of yoga with adrienne” or something and it has been very beneficial.

Obviously it doesn’t cover every aspect of fitness (namely cardio), but it is definitely very wide-ranging in its benefits.

I’m not flexible AT ALL, so yoga would be great for me. Is the 30 days program a YouTube series that you follow? My ex took me yoga classes a few times, and I was surprised how much they’d make me sweat. Thanks for the recommendation, comrade.

Yeah I’m doing the 30 days thing. Yoga is surprisingly intensive. Makes sense though, since so much of it is holding yourself in uncomfortable positions for extended periods of time.

I do 10-20 mins of P90x torrent link every day, with some good 20-30 minute high intensity cardio workouts from youtube every 3rd day or so. This one has been kicking my ass lately.

Oh dope! My buddy has done Insanity (also by Beachbody) for years, and I’d join him before moving for work. Those workouts DESTROYED me. I have no privacy at my house right now, but fuck it, I’ll snag that program and try it out anyway. Thanks comrade
