Is it the failure to follow modern American redefinition of Socialism and dictatorship as revised in American schools? Or is it the failure to establish a plutocratic command economy that depends on genocide, indoctrination, and free riding by the rich elites contrary to the self contradiction of the Liberal order?

I know that I’m missing the point here, but there were several Tom & Jerry eps in which Tom won. Imo That was THE watershed moment for Golden Age cartoons, being able to switch out the conventional loser and winner to create an unexpected twist rather than repeating the same fucking ending: Jerry wins, Tom didn’t learn his lesson, he’ll try chasing him next week.
