We’re a group of people who are interested in extending the Work Adventure and the rC3 World experience as a fully federated network of Worlds from (hacker)spaces all around the world.
This “Work Adventure” actually seems like a real project, but I would have honestly not been surprised if it would have been some sort of ironic art project to make fun of stupid corporate gamification schemes and antiquated work environments.
But hey, federation makes almost everything better, so you do you ;)
In the spirit of friendly feedback, I’d like to address the information design of both this announcement and that site. What I’d like to draw attention to most is “Work Adventure”.
Nothing in this announcement explains what “Work Adventure” is. Which is fair enough since it’s a link to a site. So the answer is surely a click away.

There’s nothing on that site that points to any information about what the site is for. It assumes you already know what “Work Adventure” is and thus would understand why federating it is a Good Thing. Now we’re adding another step to even finding out if the project is remotely of interest or not.
If you are responsible for the site, you might want to add a blurb explaining what it is, or link to something that already does this.
Wow, what a lovely idea! I will add this project to the ActivityPub Application Watchlist. If someone of the community reads this, I can recommend joining technical discussions on SocialHub and to brainstorm ideas in the companion space at lemmy in FediverseFutures.
It seems that this is not an AP project, but focusses on Matrix protocol. Maybe for social features that do use AP, the project might be inspired with what Owncast is implementing right now. I created an issue to ask for their plans wrt AP:
