    I’d go with the Lenin option, which is to cooperate with any of them depending on the situation. Left unity for the sake of left unity is useless, but left unity for the sake of specific strategical goals is pretty much necessary sometimes.

      tbf I’m having a hard time landing on ‘specific strategic goals’ that would see us aligning with anarchists beyond the macro ‘kill the boer’.

      EDIT: the prior deleted was the same reply-- this new format of ‘gold highlight the new entries’ is doing me the devil ever since the update.

        Eliminating fascism, and defending from a foreign invasion (like the japanese invasion of China in WW2) are some examples of that.

          The first one I can tentatively see; but that latter… Granted, I’m a New Afrikan. Dependent on who invades Amerika, odds are very good I’d be more inclined to assist them against the Great Satan.

    Pre-revolution with trotskyists and maoists, post-revolution with none of them. None of them are really interested in actually developing the productive forces and thus develop socialism.

    In what context? In local organising I’ve found that the most amicable people around here are the local Anarchists, our local Trot group is just a hangout for uni students and our Maoists spend more time consuming CIA propaganda than they do theory. Only my local anarchists are actually out there amongst the people (at least when it comes to organised groups).

    Trots are probably the least irritating of the fanfiction left and they’re the only grouping that actually do stuff where I come from. I’d go with them for that reason.
