There was a high-pitched hiss in the original and the only way you can remove noise is by isolating those frequencies. Unfortunately if other sound that you don’t want to remove is at those frequencies, such as Parenti’s voice, it will isolate them too. If the hiss was low-pitched I could have gotten better results.
It’s 50/50. Some people prefer it that way, some people don’t mind the hiss. Definitely there is a bit too much bass in my version and it’s muddying the voice a bit (depends how your equalizer is set up though at home), I would do it differently today if I had to redo this project.
Appreciate the effort! Like I know it takes a lot of skill to do audiovisual editing. It’s just kind of funny because the yellowing is what makes it a popular meme.

I figured if it was color corrected, maybe more people might use clips or watch it, helping Parenti spread. I also had plans to take clips out of it and upload them in a shorter format to make them more accessible but never got around to it cause everything in this lecture is worth listening to.
