No, genzedong was quarantined directly because after a harsh struggle session dialectical view on war on Ukraine won against ultra centrism. This and of course much more, but the quarantine dropped immediately after it.

I remember I used to like checking on AskARussian or something like that. I used to enjoy the sub bc I am part Russian. When this war started, I frequently saw stuff on the sub that was “if you are Russian, literally just Fuck You.” I would always joke that AskARussian means nothing when you aren’t asking them anything.
Reddit’s always been pretty hostile to Russians. They just stopped trying to keep the hate containted.
