As a Mexican I’m enjoying every second of AMLO’s term because of based shit like this. I don’t think the average person here has felt this proud of a president since Lazaro Cardenas.

Not only that but the Russians have deployed what I believe are QRF (Quick Reaction Forces) in Nicaragua Maybe I am buying the US propaganda line too much.
What is notable is that in Mali and Kazakhstan in the last months, a US backed coup attempt (using cutouts of course) has been thwarted by Russian QRF and “wagner”. Therefore, it would make complete sense that the Russians are putting troops in the region to head off US attempts at couping the democratically elected governments of Latin America which are shifting left.

He’s like a 6/10 on my based-o-meter. He’s really just a demsoc kinda vibe, not a commie by any means. BUT His open solidarity with Cuba, and challenging of US hegemony has been pushing the scales lately though.
