"Genocide is a universally acknowledged severe international crime, which brought miserable disaster to human beings in history, and the devastating impacts of genocide is still felt today," said Jiang Duan, minister of the Chinese mission to the UN in Geneva, on race-based genocide in the U.S. and Canada at the 47th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council on Monday.
