The entirety of Reddit itself is one big Reddit moment.

Yes but I feel it has gotten much worse and much more mainstream in the last few months

        Reddit itself?

I think the ML community shouldn’t rely so much on Reddit. Hell, the top communist Reddit is literally controlled by Maoists.

I… would caution against that. We do need to expand outside our social groups.

However, we should make use of educating and agitating IRL.

If you’re in an org, pamphleteering is much better, imho, than simply using social media.

Yes but Social Media shouldn’t be overlooked. In a discussion about capitalism on a normal sub I managed to convince people to actually read Marx his criticisms. My original comment got a fair amount of upvotes on a sub that is normally socdem at best.

So do both, I guess. Just try to do as much as you can within your means.

                I agree. That’s what I’m saying.

Our movement over-emphasizes a social media approach, but it caters to people that have access to the Internet, frequent and stable access, or people that have the time for it.

So a good half the country (prisoners, human-trafficked individuals, many undocumented immigrants, people in rural areas, the homeless, and those that just don’t have the time to be on social media a lot).
