Epic Games might have some shares (a small minority) owned by Tencent but it’s absolutely not a Chinese company and its terrible decisions still due to its US management and its 100% US board of directors. Just saying. Same with Reddit and Zoom, which also have only a small minority share owned by Chinese firms.

I was reading a reddit thread on a rumour of a VR headset from Tencent. One of the most upvoted comments was joking that it would scan your retina and send it to the Chinese government.
