“NATO is a subterfuge. It’s a machine to disguise the stranglehold of America over Europe.

I’m always absolutely baffled as to why this isn’t completely obvious fact, since it is so visible.

Even if he was an colonialist piece of shit, he still was much better then Churchill and every other piece of shit european leader that bowed their heads to the nazis and americans, he was the last remain of self pride on the leadership of europe. He saw through the lies of the US, and he knew what would happen if Europe just let the yankees do what they wanted. And he was right, europeans have no leadership nor nations now, they are just an american puppet.

While he was a colonialist, mass murderer of Algeria and rabid anticommunist who savagely suppressed communist uprisings in France, he was still better than the Macron type US puppet regimes of the modern day France. He was also a truthful and sincere antifascist, which is frankly rare in this day and age. I have no doubt if De Gaulle saw Macron supporting the ukrainian nazis he would struggle in his grave

I certainly don’t share the author’s respect for De Gaulle, but it’s good to have documents of anticommunist officials (partially) admitting that Imperial America is bent on world domination — a part of the world, in this case. The effects should already point to that conclusion, but explicit commentaries and discussions like these from élites make it harder to wave it off as some mere conspiracy theory.
