That’s it. It was my first day organizing, and someone gave me a donut after talking to us!

That’s brilliant to hear! What were the flyers about? And where(not locationwise, don’t give out personal info, like what spot did you pick) did you choose for handing them out? I’ve considered handing flyers in my town but I was put off bc i wasn’t sure what to pass out for what cause and not sure the legality of it. Thx

I pulled up to a local college! I don’t know if we had to ask for permission or what, but we just kinda set up and started walking around and passing em out! People were alot more receptive than I thought! Worst case scenario, security will probably tell you to leave.

They were PSL flyers about local school shutdowns (maybe someone could try to dox me with that, but I don’t really care. If they’re going to take the time to scower every single PSL release, good on them then 🤣.) We also had a ton of other material, stuff about abortions, PSL magazines, housing rights, etc.

One of the comrades there got a head of lettuce hehe :).

It might be a little bit daunting to do by yourself, especially for me since I’m somewhat introverted. I had someone there with me though, so that helped! I dunno though, I feel like just being there with a clear purpose in mind made talking to people less daunting.

Edit: if there are any local orgs, maybe check out some stuff they have! Or maybe find an org you like and print from them

Awesome, I sorta thougt that same thing, PSL was gonna be my topic. I feel that they are a good organization in the US bc I hear CPUSA, while it has active MLs, the official party line is anti-Stalin. PCUSA isn’t that big and PSL consistently had good takes and I like PSL’s video “loyal citizens of Pyongyang in Seoul”
