I have watched a news video about them. It was pretty sad. While I am sure they immigrated for material reasons mostly, their Jewish faith was something they took into serious consideration but they were living in poverty and neglect with many of their people facing deportation regardless of their adherence to Judaism which is of course not a surprise to us since we know the reality of apartheid Israel a bit better. I hope Israel at least how it exists right now stops being a thing in my lifetime.

The occupational power of Israel wanted to get as many Jewish people in their territory as possible to legitimize their occupation and settler policies. It is, after all, the “country” of Jewish people.

That was as far back as the 70s. Now that they are done with them – there isn’t really anyone left to convince and they have more than enough people to settle Palestine wholly – they want to get rid of non-white Jews living in their jurisdiction.

There are also Jews from Morocco or other Arab countries living in the occupation, because when Israel was created there was a lot of uncertainty about the future and they were allowed to live there. There are also Palestinians living in the occupied territories – outside of settled areas, Gaza or the West Bank. They have absolutely 0 rights, whereas Arab Jews (or African Jews) have some. When Gaza was created after the peace deal in 1949, there was again a lot of uncertainty about the future and many Palestinians decided to stay where they had lived their whole lives.

Please edit your title to reflect that Israel is an occupational power in Palestine, something like “how the occupation treats black people”. Thanks comrade.

A community for everything related to Palestine and the occupation currently underway by the occupying force known as Israel.

Anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism. Existence is resistance for Palestinians.

Please refer to Israel as Occupied Palestine, or occupied territories. The IDF is a fascist and ethnonationalist occupying force. Israelis are settlers. We understand however that the imperial narrative (which tries to legitimise Israel) is internalised in the imperial core and slip-ups are naturally expected.

We always take the sides of Palestine and Palestinians and are unapologetic about it. Israel is an occupying power whose “defence force”'s (note the contradiction) sole purpose for existing is to push Palestinians out so they can resettle their rightful land. If you have anything positive to say about Israel we do not care.
