Aren’t Western countries especially Europe short on a lot raw materials required to make modern military equipment? In priors years they had China to export things like rare earths but they have since sanctioned big firms like Lockheed Martin. Curious what their game plan is here.
Their plan is to hope that the population doesn’t notice how the MIC can not replace their great toys at any realistic rate.
Well good thing they’re currently waging total economic war against one of the largest exporters of metals in the world, while doing their best to alienate China as well.
On that point I’ve seen a couple pictures of Ukrainians using American howitzers. Apparently they’ve shipped them without the electronic targeting system. Could be related.
