I don’t get it, what did Eric Clapton do? We are talking about the musician, right?

What people can’t seem to wrap their heads around is that Trump AND the Clintons both have a suspicious amount of ties back to sex trafficking victims. It’s not one side or the other, people all over the US government were seeking Epstein’s services and keeping him safe for years. But whenever I see someone talk about it, their immediate thought is to resort to Tribalism and say “Well my guy wouldn’t support that!”

This is the different between the east and the west. In the east, you can’t expose or prosecute the politicians. In the west, you can expose them, but also you can’t prosecute them. At the end, the result is the same. the democracy and the justice system are a myth.

“The east” is extremely general. It’s clearly possible in China, for example (although AFAICT it’s mainly from the CPC’s anti-corruption campaign); probably not so much in Japan

I wouldn’t go to Said to understand Marx but I’ll trust that those screenshots are very insightful. They’re very hard for me to read so you’ll have to give me a pass. I have reading problems and small font is my sworn enemy.

I have not. I always appreciate book recommendations. And seeing that you linked a pdf with OCR I will read it soon as well.

bruh just straight up linked a libgen url. based as fuck.

Unfortunately you linked a pdf instead of epub. This is an unforgivable crime and your ML credentials have thus been removed.

Look, I don’t care if this is reactionary: I prefer pdfs with OCR because they display better on my computer and I can help myself with TTS software.

          Purge me if you must.

epub is text format as opposed to page formatting of pdf, which means it has better compatibility with TTS software as far as I know. Also if you use calibre you can adjust the looks and feel of your epub books cause it’s unformatted text so you can change the font, font size, background color, etc. even make it night mode. epub is just a much more robust format for books. pdf still has its uses for documents and books where the page’s layout is important but for most books that is not the case.

also I’m not a zoomer and I don’t read on phone, I read on my linux PC. 😎

I just haven’t found an epub reader with TTS I “love” for my laptop. I prefer Foliate to Calibre for epubs but I haven’t converted yet. Festival TTS works good enough with Okular and I’m stuck in my old ways. I’m so sorry.
