A russian missile has apparently hit a residential building in Kiev, killing a ukrainian “journalist” working for the ukrainian language edition of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (Radio Svoboda). Remember, RFE/RL is a CIA propaganda arm used to spread anticommunist propaganda. Anyone working for it is a propagandist and a proffessional liar, not a journalist. RIP BOZO Rest in piss you wont be missed. One less liar spreading russophobia and sinophobia 🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀

Yes, Russia isn’t the USSR, but they’re killing all the things that I hate and making America and NATO out to be fools. Growing up in the height of Iraq, watching Libya hopelessly, I can’t help but feel vicariously victorious over stories like this.

I will never understand the term war crimes. War itself is criminal, so its just varying degrees of barbarity.

I would argue that there are things that should be classified as criminal, even for a criminal endeavour like war - just look at things imperial Japan did in China, for example.

That said, people seem to not know (and not want to know) actual definitions for the term and just throw it out at whatever the “bad guys” are doing. Or what they think they are doing, like that story about how “Russian spies are marking residential buildings for missile strikes”. Or the one about “Russian tank purposefully running over a car”. All those stories dilute the meaning of the term and cheapen the suffering.

Yeah that is the point. War crimes are especially fucked up shit during war time.

Given she was ukranian she probably was a full blown Bandera bootlicking neonazi.

I am sure that she was a neofascist sympathizer, but I don’t believe that her nationality had anything to do with it.

Her nationality plus her ties to Radio Free Europe makes it a good bet her family worked hand in glove with Hitler.

Is this okay? She was unarmed and in a residential building(According to RFE). If yes: Are propagandists(in this case in the enemy territory) classified as non-civil in war(And no, I’m not asking for spies)? If not: Is this justified in any way or is it a war crime(And yes I’m asking according to this source. If there is an another one that says otherwise or disproves this one than well…)?

Idk, this just came out and Russia has denied they fired that missile, saying they hit a weapons factory, not a residential building. Either they fired it and it missed the target hitting there or Ukraine fired it for some reason or Russia fired it and the journalist was at the weapons factory and RFE lied. Either way i dont care, she deserved it. Instead of an innocent ukrainian dying we got a shameless bastard who slanders and lies for money to manufacture consent for wars that kill millions. Also Radio Svoboda (ukrainian edition of RFE/RL where she worked) regularly spreads nazi propaganda, like that Stepan Bandera wasnt a nazi but “just a ukrainian nationalist” and that he was good, which makes it even worse. She didnt need to work there, she could have stayed at the ukrainian TV channel where she worked earlier, which probably lies a lot but at least isnt funded by the fucking CIA. Instead, she showed she had no principles as long as there is good money. Sucks her family lost her but nazis have families too, doesnt mean we shouldnt kill them. Im not crying for her.

But answering your question if what RFE says is true then yes its a war crime undoubtedly.

Her job was to manufacture consent for war while defending Nazis. She, and every other CIA asset are valid targets.

No. It’s a life lost and it is sad. She could be a mom, a wife, sister etc. People will grow up without her. No one should live through that.

It is sad her job was to spread mainly lies with the intent of propaganda to harm countries trying to do better than capitalism. It’s sad she died with this as her legacy.

That’s the thing with this. A lot of people die fighting for nothing. Or die accidently in the process. The people fight and die in this war. Not the fucks controlling things in this world.
