Many Arch-based Linux distributions have mushroomed lately. The one that is promising in this crowd is Garuda Linux. Read this review to know why I say so.

What I found interesting about this is :

Automatic snapshots accessible from GRUB

and for gamers :

Garuda Gamer – GUI for curated gaming packages

Conclusion Garuda Linux is one of the Linux distributions that represents a real passion from the developers side, and this can be observed from the amazing selection of tools, features and configurations.

Yeah, that HiDPI big ruined it for me.

Meanwhile I have tried Garuda Linux myself, and one interesting thing is that it comes with Firedragon browser by default with a local Whoogle instance, which works fine for me. Garuda Linux turns out to be pretty privacy friendly focused.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).

Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word “Linux” in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.
