    I’m glad the courts went with outside help bypassing Alabama. Everyone knew Alabama was going to keep stalling until the election and use their rigged maps.

    Sounds like the exact same thing the supreme court told them to do a month ago and they said “nah”. What’s to stop the blight of democracy from just not doing it again?

      They can’t use the fall back method where they use their old rigged maps because a new one wasn’t approved. The article said they are having an outside firm make three maps and a panel of 3 judges will pick one of them. Alabama will contest it but the court will uphold the new map and voting will be done with the judge appointed map.
