If I had to make a completely wild and uneducated guess it’s that they see that Russia has now began to fully escalate the war effort and Western media is preparing to backtrack about Ukraine winning by saying, “Well ackchyually it was Ukrainian media that was falsely claiming they were doing so well, not us.”

I’d like to consider this a positive change, but honestly media doesn’t matter as long as the West keeps feeding Ukraine weapons. Some sources say we (Russia) started employing planes that are out of reach for most (if not all) of their current AA systems, so expect more coping and crying about injustice and unfair mongols soon from the boys.
