    Off-topic but shits gonna get pretty crazy in Latin America as the US declines. Britain never had any colonial possessions so close to their borders, so holding onto India and the ME wasn’t a question for them after the brits were devastated by WW2.

    The US isn’t in that position, it has and continues to be able to use its military in SA. It might do that a lot more to prevent SA countries partnering with China.
