So, this is pretty wild. It is also pretty deceptive.
As far as I know ( I’m pretty new to the communist movement, and I am not very informed on a lot of topics) Marxism-Leninism-Maoism was created(or compiled) by the Communist Party of Peru, with no direct influence from Mao or the CPC. To claim that “several hundred million chinese people” toiled to create MLM is just a falsehood. Although the chinese revolution was a huge influence, the PRC never approved this ideology. One would expect that someone who created something would approve of it, or at least recognize it as their creation.
Moreover, BRG dismisses the “several hundred million chinese people” alive today, who have never considered themselves to be Maoists and align themselves more with the group he calls “dengites”. Now, BRG is a maoist and should be well aware of this history, more so than I. BRG therefore deliberately obfuscated this information in order to claim the “several hundred million chinese people”, and that this makes him incapable of Sinophobia, somehow. This is pretty disgusting, and demonstrates the exact opposite of what he is trying to prove.
Final thoughts: Think about this for a minute. Without the Maoist rhetoric, would you be able to distinguish this post from that of a liberal? Is this not the same type of argument a liberal would make?
This kind of a take is obviously not materialist or principled. If BRG is indeed an organizer and a revolutionary, he should spend more time combating his own liberalism than posting this garbage.
