The three proof of concept pilot films made during the long (and troubled) production of Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland.
The 1980 pilot uses an art style way more similar to the original Windsor McCay comics, the '84 one looks pretty similar to the final product, and the 87 pilot is interestingly somewhere in the middle.

I’m a huge fan of the original comics, I didn’t like the Anime at all because of it. I wish it had been more like the 1980 pilot. Windsor McKay would still look great today if someone did it.
