    I keep wondering if Zak Brown is the problem with drivers? The Danny debacle, then Nyck, and now Alex.

    I get that Zak is the president/ceo/wannabe team principal, but I often think he needs to stay in his lane and let people do their jobs

      To me he feels like a proper old school, American manager, with the firm belief that you need to be tough on people to get the best from them. He also gives off a bit of a “fuck yeah, I’m awesome” vibe.

      That’s just my very subjective impression, though, not based on much beyond watching a few interviews with him…

      Driver management is typically the job of the CEO, not the team principal. So it would be Zak’s job, yes.

    That’s a refreshingly mature statement that it would be good to remember when the hacks start trying to drum up controversy by taking quotes out of context!
