This is the one I got:

In store, these massage guns start at 200 bucks and go up to 500. The one I got on aliexpress, which is their highest model, cost me 40 dollars with shipping (which was free).

It’s amazing and I feel it will really help after a workout to reduce soreness and also relax some of my tight muscles (calves especially in my case). As I haven’t yet used it before or after a workout (the plan is to “untense” my muscle before the workout, and work to prevent soreness after the workout), I can’t tell you how well it works there, but it did help in reducing some latent soreness and overall it made me very relaxed so that’s a plus.

How it works is simply a piston that goes forward and back very, very fast. You have 30 speed settings and different heads you can mount on it for, purportedly, different uses (tbh I mostly use the flat head as it works everywhere). I’m not sure I’ll ever use the highest setting but the thing is, it actually feels different depending on the speed you set it at.

Touch controls are very reactive and the gun is very silent. this is really a high quality product and that’s what made me say it’s the exact same product as you get in stores but for 10 times the price.

The downside is it’s a bit awkward to use on yourself, especially as you should relax your muscles while using it, but it still works.

I highly recommend this product to everyone. This is the store I got it from specifically: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001616421033.html (the MG004 option) as I found them to be the cheapest, but you can buy it anywhere on aliexpress. They say it’s on sale from 100$ right now but to be honest they’re always on sale somewhere on aliexpress, so don’t pay more than 45$ for this.

Oh for what it’s worth, the item came really quickly and was safely packed; not even the softshell case was damaged.

Update on the massage gun after some use: it’s very good for sore muscles. Sore back after kettlebell swings (a ton of them) went away the next day (next day after the workout). Sore adductors (from a ton of squats) are still going strong after 2 days, but they pain is very likely diminished because of the massages.

With the several heads you can also get different body parts depending on how deep the pain is.

Definitely recommend, plus it feels nice.

Nice, I should think about getting one of these. My back and neck especially can get really sore after workouts.

Definitely get one! Be aware that it can kinda hurt or be awkward on areas with less muscle but otherwise, it’s a really cool little tool that definitely gets its place in my workout kit.

I ordered some memory foam earbuds for my Bluetooth headset from AliExpress. They were like 10% of the price of Comply foam tips. The seller shipped it but the tracking service says that they have landed in India but not shipped to my address and it has been over two months of this. Real F moment because I really wanted them since my gym plays really bad and loud music that seemingly no one else has a problem with.

Now I am considering buying other workout stuff from AliExpress, namely lifting straps and neoprene knee sleeves but am a bit hesitant about it.

Yeah. If the tracker isn’t lying (which I am assuming to be the case), it has landed here but hasn’t been shipped to me. Also the aliexpress website sometimes randomly stops working and I have to use VPN to access it. I just want some earbud tips lmao.

You have to do your research on the product because most of the time aliexpress stores sell the exact same thing, just repackaged or rebranded. I always check the prices thoroughly – if I hadn’t, this massager would have been 20 extra dollars.

As far as shipping goes, if you don’t receive your item after a while (it says so in your orders page) you can contact aliexpress and request a refund since you didn’t receive the item. They usually issue it without issues. You could also try contacting the store first, if possible they’ll work with you to resolve the issue. It shows up like this :

And once the order closes I think you can open a dispute directly with aliexpress. But feel free to reach out to the store, they will usually try to help out. I also noticed aliexpress is really good sometimes at telling you if your order reached your country or has been delivered (they send me an email before I actually get the package but on the same day I do), so if you contact them they may be able to help out, especially if there’s tracking.

Personally I bought some tronsmart bluetooth earbuds and I love them. They’re about the same as those expensive earbuds that looks like this: https://zdnet2.cbsistatic.com/hub/i/2020/06/12/4bbacde2-8d0e-45a6-bdcc-b8099d023112/*removed*a-rimor-wireless-earbuds-eileen-brown-zdnet.png, but they were only 35$. I’ve had supposedly “good brand” earbuds sound way worse at much higher prices (Sony, and I think Bose or Sennheiser ones too).

These were only the foam tips for the earbuds so the total price came to be less than $2 including shipping so I am not mad just a bit sad. I don’t think I will pursue this any further. I’ve asked the seller if they can do something about the stagnated state and they said they can contact Indian Post but nothing came of it so I’ll let them have the $2 for at least being polite.
