Do NOT have mobile app as a priority but maybe just keep it in mind.
I would be interested in contributing to such a project and do iOS dev, and have a comrade who does Android
Could be cool. Guessing we gotta see if the site holds up before people go through the effort of making an app, but would be great in the future.
Ya, I’ve gotten one or two ppl that have asked for my help with the API to develop a mobile app, I think they’re just speccing it out and deciding yet.
I took a look at the API docs for Lemmy on your GitHub and was wondering if there is an instance that could be tested against? As I mentioned in another comment in this thread I do iOS dev and would be interested in testing the waters of making a native mobile client.
EDIT: Turns out I can indeed connect to lemmygrad.ml, just had to use wss://
Ya just let me know if you need any help. Running docker and doing your testing locally would probably be the best way, or use dev.lemmy.ml
