    IMO the big picture is that, if Europe and Asia unite economically into a single supercontinent, then the US’s days as the global superpower are numbered. When Chinese tech, Russian fuel, etc. reach Western Europe by land routes, US/UK naval supremacy becomes less important for controlling global trade. The US itself is relegated to a geographical backwater.

            Thanks. A ground for civil discussion. That’s the maturity I was expecting.

            Though I’m not so familiar with Russia’s international affairs nor expansion interests rather than possibly puppeteering governments which seemed mostly economical. I’d appreciate any source that you could share.
