Its a very interesting video. Disclaimer, I dont agree with every point that he makes. But the account also has many newer videos which are more specific, and more accurate.

One thing I really like that he brought up is the misconception (mainly in the West, but some non-Western people have this too) that modernisation is congruent to Westernisation. It’s an arrogant attitude that ha story be tossed aside to make better sense of cultures that are as of now alien to us.
