I absolutely despise these speeches. If there is a hell and I somehow end there, I will be Clockwork Oranged into a chair in Congress and forced to watch the decrepit remains of US presidents making their speeches. I will be surrounded by the most banal Mar-A-Lago faced zombies, Congressional ghouls (who’re still alive), and gusanos, while Jeb asks for a clap. Their arms flailing, hands flying from their wrists, barely missing Dubya’s head again. I will watch them weep cheap solemn tears, as a boot is hanged by a medal wreathed around its neck. And as I look at their faces melt from their salty tears upon witnessing Communism finally achieved on earth, I will smile briefly, for Trump’s speech is over, but Juan Guaidó’s next.
