I actually found it somewhat tolerable before this, as it’s primarily made for documenting tropes and works of fiction and I could pretty easily ignore their political takes. Seeing this conversation was my breaking point, so I decided to post it here. I’m not sure how much TV Tropes culture has changed since 2017, but I think this is the most “Yikes!” take I’ve seen from it’s users.
