If you didn’t already know about Comrade Julius Malema then you need to. This man is an exemplary revolutionary.

I don’t know if sending weapons to Russia is the best use. Russia has arms factories, they’re doing fine. Meanwhile Palestine could use the weapons.

Yep. The idea that Russia needs others to give them weapons is somewhat silly. Russia is a major arms exporter, they are the ones who give others weapons. The only reason i could see for other countries to send weapons to Russia is as a symbolic gesture to show the West that “what’s good for the goose is also good for the gander”, i.e. if the West is allowed to send weapons to Ukraine then they don’t get to tell anyone else not to send weapons to Russia. It would be a big middle finger but it wouldn’t really affect the war itself.

Arming the Palestinians (and doing so in a pragmatic, non-ultra, non-moralizing way, meaning not shying away from supporting certain Palestinian liberation groups just because you don’t like their ideology or their positions on certain social issues) would be much more impactful and much more radical of a step.

Could you elaborate on this part, please?

Possibly referring to Iran not supporting non-Islamic Palestinian liberation fighters?

Yes, but also vice versa, secular Westerners being squeamish about supporting Islamic liberation groups like Hamas.

I think Malema was talking more in principle rather than in terms of practical need
