Not to speak for the comrade, but IIRC Watch Dogs 1 barely touches political themes and it’s more of a personal revenge hackerman story, whereas 2 has you form this cyberterrorist network taking out key infrastructure of the technological Big Brother of the game. Can’t remember much of 2 and only played a few hours of it (Ubisoft games are endlessly entertaining btw /s)… it seemed a little cowardly if anything, just borderlining on revolutionary rhetoric but never taking it anywhere. I’m sure it gets way worse as the story progresses lol
