I watched a few hours of the Grayzone stream. I liked seeing people like Max Blumenthal, Chris Hedges, Anya Parampil, and even Jimmy Dore repping the cause from the left. I didn’t see any capitulation to bad libertarian ideology from those people. I also don’t see a problem organizing on a specific issue with people who aren’t comrades, especially when the issue is combating imperial militarism.

I’ve always had a lot of respect for the greyzone and love to hear them. People forget how lonely the field was even 5 years ago. Jimmy Dore is far from a socialist but he’s got it right 7 out of 10 times. He’s covering a lot things better than most, a majority of which isn’t covered at all; even if some of the topics are things nobody wants to hear anything about. He’s been at the front of important issues like the democratic split and a force the vote movement, where he stood alone. I’m happy to hear them speak, at the end of the day, like it or not, they’re going to be the front of any credible organized left.

Chris Hedges too. One of the best authors and war corespondents of our time. There isn’t a single book he’s published that I haven’t read. Not a single person on this site is more worthy to be at the front of an organized left than Chris Hedges. Anyone who would speak against anything he’s associated with isn’t worth the time of day.
