turns out that the cost of floating LNG terminals more than tripled in 2022 and reached 10 billion euros by December 2022.
The cost growth rate of the terminals that have not yet been built suggests that the 10 billion euros is far from final and could increase by a factor of two and a half. After that, the gas coming through them will be golden, no matter how low the price of LNG falls.
No shit Germany, you have to buy them (or face the wrath of the Hegemon) so the LNG cartel gets to decide the price you pay. I hope you notice you’re in a protection racket.
