I originally noticed that the subreddit of dozenal is about 20 times larger than that of hexadecimal. I’ve also found a few dozenal societies, but searching for “hexadecimal society”, the first result is for dozenalsociety.org.uk, and nothing relevant after that.
The websites of these societies have some reasoning for base 12, though I still firmly believe base 16 is superior.
