Top Ukrainian security officials are refuting U.S. estimates of how many Ukrainian soldiers have been killed or injured in the war. Last week, the U.S. chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley, said around 100,000 Ukrainian troops have been killed or injured.
Ukrainian officials are now saying that figure is “not entirely true.”
Oleksiy Danilov, Ukraine’s secretary of National Security and Defense Council, said the casualty figures are “definitely not those.”

I won’t feel bad about dead Nazis, but most of these people are probably just misguided (politically unaware, believing that the invasion was unprovoked) and/or forced to fight. This could have been over in a few days (or long before it started) if NATO didn’t prevent and sabotage negotiations
Definitely appreciating how many are likely forced to fight after reading a recent article someone posted here and digging into the Ukronazi blocking units. Makes the whole situation even sadder than it already was. These blocking units if killed would greatly slow recruitment, unfortunately there are many and they are well-armed from what I gather; the fascists are reserving the best they’ve got to essentially enslave their own populace to be sent as battle thralls.
