Vanilla Firefox has ads and telemetry on by default, remember to deactivate those in the settings

PSA: Use ffprofile.com to generate a sensible default configuration for Firefox (telemetry and ads turned off by default). The installation is as simple as copying and pasting the files into a profile.

Or use librewolf or GNU Icecat.

I’m using Librewolf and it’s kinda jank, even if you don’t use the anti-fingerprinting stuff you can’t effectively choose your user agent language or theme.
