My guess is that by the end of the year we’ll suffer a crash equal to the great depression. The US and Europe will likely not recover.
I mean, the original Great Depression didn’t kill US. If anything, it made it stronger, by shitting on Europe and laying the groundwork for the Nazi rising in Germany.
What saved the US was Europe destroying itself, leaving the US as the only country with sufficient industrial capacity

8.5 percent inflation with a tendency towards growth. Supply shortages with no solution in sight. Rent reaching the point normal working people simply cannot afford. Massive debt bubbles not just in housing and student loans, but in every and nothing’s going to resolve. This Ukraine thing is the straw that breaks the empire. Americans can’t afford to pay twice as much for gas and Europe is looking down the barrel of energy shortages and famine.
I’ll give it a few years
